My DH has just recently moved to being on a once a month maintenance dose of Leqembi after approximately two years of bi-weekly infusions. A PET scan revealed that the amyloid plaque in his brain is totally gone, so the infusions accomplished their goal.
He has traditional Medicare and a supplement. There was absolutely no cost to us. The roughly one hour time spent getting an infusion every two weeks was minimal. He never experienced any side effects.

Having said all that, he is still declining. We just assume it’s not as quickly as he would have otherwise. To him, it was worth it to buy more time.
