Waiting on an official diagnosis

in I Am Living With Younger Onset Alzheimer's
I am 60 in July It seems like it is test after test. I have had all kinds of blood test. My next test is a pet scan. How long before I get a diagnosis? Not knowing is really hard.

    The hardest part is the worst. Just be patient. Pet scan will confirm.

    My husband is 56 and was just officially diagnosed last week, but it took us 6 months to get to this point. Due to his age insurance made it difficult to get to this point when a pet scan would have just confirmed it. Hang in there it is tough. Just getting the diagnosis is the easy part unfortunately. Trying to get approvals for the treatments and working with SSDI if frustrating.
