Ques for new memory care facility

Hello, new to this group. My dad is currently in a memory care facility and has had alot of issues with inappropriate sexual behavior with other residents. Other than just watching them and keeping separate they’ve done nothing else

Also has been sent out to the hosp for a fall but told me that it was because he fell and was having a seizure or a stroke. Hosp and ems records only say a fall. He had no loc, no obvious injuries. Thinking the home doesn’t want to deal with the sexual behaviors and just using the “fall” as an excuse

I almost get the impression they are trying to make me move him

Curious how I can question a new facility on how they handle trips to hosp for no good reason and the sexual behaviors issue. Hosp agreed with me they really likely didn’t need to call 911

Welcome. I know there are others here that have had trouble with sexual behaviors. It’s my understanding this is something that can happen with dementia. I think I have read that there is medication that can help. You might try to searching that topic on this sight. I’m not sure what standard practice is for falls and trips to the emergency department.

Thanks, I am requesting the psychiatrist Dr prescribe him something because I just don’t see the making sure they are separated is working. Half the time I visit the staffs either out smoking and on their phone or sittting at the desk. It’s very frustrating
