Newly Diagnosed

My DW was diagnosed with AD two weeks ago. She's had an MRI, and will take the Geri 2 Psych Testing next week. She's 74, and has had some cognitive issues for about 2 years. She is hoping to be able to have infusion therapy. We'd love feedback from anyone familiar with infusion therapy. We just don't know what to expect.

    My LO got MRI today and testing Thursday. Today she is agreeing to go, mostly to "get you off my back". OK, whatever reason is good enough for me. You'll meet great people here living the same life you are. Great advice and support without judgement.

    My LO has been on lequembi infusions, 2xmonth since March. He is 81 and has MCI. It is supposed to dissolve existing plaque and help keep more from forming. Can’t replace the lost memory, though. So far, he’s tolerating it well.
