Hi friends,

Dad has started mentioning wanting to kill himself.

He barely has language ability, so for him to get a whole thought like this out is unusual and obviously the content of his thought is alarming.

He is stage 6. On hospice. History of behavioral expressions that lead to a geri psych inpatient stay in July and a new care home soon after.

My heart hurts.

I knew you would understand.

Staff and nurses are following up. Social worker was with him today too.

He has also been falling a lot recently.

Oh, my.

I'm glad he isn't alone and is being watched over. He's blessed to have you watching out for him. Yes, of course that hurts! I'm sorry you are dealing with that.
