Instructions: Update Account Privacy Settings

To make changes to your account privacy settings, please follow these instructions:

  1. Make sure you are logged into ALZConnected community at alz.org/alzconnected
  2. Select the image of your avatar in upper right corner
  3. Select “Account & Privacy Settings”
  4. Select the “Account and Privacy” blue hyperlink
  5. To make your profile private, meaning that only your username/screen name will be visible to other members, uncheck the box for “display my profile publicly”

To make edits to your personal biography, select the “Edit Profile” link. Confirm your biography text and select “Save”

If you prefer to hide your online status, select the link for “Who’s Online” and mark the checkbox “Hide my online status from other members.”
