Instructions: Register and Create an Account

Please follow these instructions to register for a new ALZConnected account:

1. Visit alz.org/alzconnected 
2. From the home page select the “Register” button in the upper right corner
3. Complete registration fields. All fields marked with an asterisk are required
   1. Please note, usernames/screen names can only contain upper and lowercase letters, numbers, underscores, forward-slashes, hyphens, spaces, periods, apostrophes, brackets, and must be between 3 and 20 characters long
   2. Your password must be a minimum of 8 characters and should include at least one number and a special character (e.g. #,$,)
   3. You will receive an error message if the email address or screen name you use to register is already claimed
4. Confirm the security step and agree to Terms and Conditions and Community Guidelines.
5. Select “Sign Up”
6. You will receive an email to validate your account. Check the spam folder of your email account if this does not appear in your inbox
7. Open the email and select the button that reads “Confirm my Email Address”
8. You will automatically be routed back to the ALZConnected login screen to login with your email and password
9. You must validate your account via email before you can participate in the community

Once validated you can post new messages and replies!
