Job Responds to the Lord

42 Then Job replied to the Lord:

2 “I know that you can do anything,

and no one can stop you.

3 You asked, ‘Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorance?’

It is I—and I was talking about things I knew nothing about,

things far too wonderful for me.

me: Lately, I've been questioning the Lord why He often doesn't answer in the affirmative when we ask Him to take away pain and suffering.

After Job suffered horribly, He said the above words to God. He admitted talking about things he knew nothing about, things too wonderful.

Yes, even though we suffer now, I believe God has the best plans and purpose for each one of us...they are too wonderful.
