This this is even better than your first positive post! Couldn't be happier for the both of you; the idea of peace and comfort with smiles and conversation being found, is heartfelt wonderful.

You had me laughing out loud at your Partner's comment re whiskey and a rawhide chew. Seems she also has a very broad sense of humor. May she find more smiles and even laughter in the days ahead.

The idea of weeding and gardening together is a wonderful one and I would imagine the more she does hands-on, the more she will become bonded to the facility and begin to feel an acceptable positive.

Great advocacy; it certainly wasn't easy, but you persisted despite the odds and the results are nothing short of amazing. The "other place," is now naught but a faded memory in the rear view mirror. You have been nothing short of a very real blessing for your Partner; and she happily gifted you from the heart that she loves you. Yep; amazing.
