I am so sorry for your loss. How wonderful that she had those moments of clarity and was able to help bond you and your sisters’ together with humor and love on Friday. Treasure that memory. I have heard that LO’s wait until family members are all gathered, or, conversely, wait until they are not present when it’s time for the soul to leave the body. Funny, that way. My DH passed on April 21; I think he waited for our son from TX to get home to PA and although DH had no moments of clarity prior to leaving, I believe he knew that I and the kids were there and he left peacefully. Take care of yourself; wishing you comfort and peace in the coming days.
