yep my husband can’t remember where he’s been for coffee an hour before and many other things. I’ve been told it’s a moderate dementia now.

I’m wishing this time away……I’m living with someone i didn’t marry and don't recognise anymore…….

Yeah, exactly. Not the person I married. In fact, before I realized there was a medical issue I had thoughts along the line of « If I met her now I would avoid her like the plague. » The same is NOT true of her family, whom I love dearly. We had 30 pretty good years together, and I am still personally blessed with excellent health, so I figure it’s an inevitable counterpart to a life so far mostly characterized by very good fortune.
