Thanks HB! Here is the link again, and the initial post or folks can scroll back to page 1. I am also attaching as pdf handouts this time, for easy access in case anyone wants to print it out. I'm thinking of sharing with our HHA agency, as it could help significantly with their training. This has been a real eye-opener for me, and very helpful.

Recently there was a post requesting Stage 7 information. The attached includes some staging tools and also 1 pg info sheets on what to expect in final months, weeks, days, hours.

I also am seeing for the first time, a nursing care notes section with Tam Cumming's staging tool that includes how the caregiver is likely progressing (suffering) along with their LOs decline. Sobering, especially the actively dying descriptions of what to expect, but very helpful.

This is such a great tool. It’s not just about where your loved one is at now, but what you might expect moving forward.

Chug, can you please add your "10 Absolutes in Dementia Care" to this thread? It's very useful!

If any of you ever have the chance to see her speak or engage with her, it is well with your time and effort. I saw her last week through a class with my local Area Agency on Aging. I am not exaggerating when I say I gained more practical information, help, and insight from her in one day than I have from my entire local medical community in the eight months since I started this journey with my DH.
