My turn to announce, stage 8 has begun
My wife Judy passed away tonight. She had a heart attack and is with Jesus now. It all seems surreal. This morning I looked at her as I woke her and for some reason I thought that I would have to face her death, little did I know this would be that day. I even wrote it down tonight when I got home. I guess writing it down for me was knowing that I would have to face it. This is all so sudden.

Stewart —. I am profoundly sorry for your DW’s passing (a scant five days after my DW’s passing). You have been a tireless caregiver and have so generously shared your journey.
Agree totally the actual event seems so sudden, even as we’ve been prepared for it forever, seemingly.
I wish you peace and relief over the coming weeks and months. May your thoughts turn, in time, to better days and memories that precede AD.

Stewart, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved wife, Judy. Although it was a challenge, you always gave her such love and kept her with you until it was clear she would do better in a facility. This will be hard, but know that all of us here on the forum admired the excellent care you gave her. Peace and blessings to you.

I am so sorry, Stewart. You did all you could (and then some) for as long as you could. She is at rest and your time has come to rest, find peace and carry on somehow. Stage 8 is hard; quiet, less worrisome, but hard. I will be praying for you and for your Judy. Blessings.

"Death is so definately final. It closes a chapter of our lives but for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation."Rumi
Stage 8. It comes in an instant and with it raw and often conflicting emotions. It is hard but by the time we arrive we have learned much about hard and how to live with it.
Please add my sorrow to everyone's here and know that we are now and will be always here for you.
