Getting overnight caregiver

We've been trying to take shifts watching mom overnight to make sure she doesn't slide out of bed or get stuck in the railings on the hospital bed. Thankfully she hasn't had any issue since being in the new bed and with us watching. We're still not getting enough sleep ourselves and it's starting to impact our job performances and being clear-minded while caring for her.

We're going to see if an overnight carer would be right for us. I've been trying to look up information for it, but the search results only return ads for agencies and "top eight tips to help PWD sleep at night;" old news.

Since mom's in the last stages of the disease, she doesn't need a lot of care in general, just someone who can make sure she stays safely in the bed when asleep and maybe give her water and put the blankets on her when she kicks them off.

What do y'all think?
