Today, my DW of 25 years was released from the ravages of of this evil disease (+ cancer) and is, truly, in a better place.
I was lucky enough to be by her side, holding her hand, when she passed. And I might have been alarmed at the changes she underwent, if not for having learned about the signs and sounds and changes that are common as our bodies prepare to die. I highly recommend the (free) videos from "Hospice Nurse Julie".
I am terribly heartbroken , but as most here know, I began grieving long before today.
Peace be with all of you.

Heartfelt condolences to you. May she rest in peace and may you find peace as well, in time.
What a blessing to be prepared, and at her side as she escaped this disease’s clutches, finally. We are here for you whenever you need.

I wish you peace and comfort. I'm sorry for your loss. We had a wonderful hospice doctor explain in great detail what would happen in the phases. I've seen many Nurse Julie videos, and highly recommend them
