Hello all!

I am looking for people/groups in the Omaha area for those who have been diagnosed at an early age (50’s). I have called around but no results. Just thought I’d through it out here and see!

Welcome Icork. How are you doing? Can you tell us more about yourself? I have a diagnosis of cognitive impairment not otherwise specified, diagnosed in 2009 when I was 59 years old. I've been on Exelon patch and memantine, and they are helping me with speech and memory. I do not have Alzheimer's Disease.

Some local chapters of the Alzheimer's Association will sponsor a Memory Club. You can call the Helpline at 1-800-272-3900 and askyto speak with the Early Stage Coordinator or a Care Consultant for such a group. I hope you can continue to post and share with the other members.
