Hi, I'm glad it's working for you. Are you taking it in addition to the donepezil and memantine?

Hi there Stan2!! Yes, I am taking all three simultaneously. It appears they work maybe in different ways and or different areas of the Alzheimer's. I think I first started on the Memantine, then added Donepezil and the just recently happened upon the Galantamine and had my Dr. prescribe a 30;day supply I have been on it for I think like two weeks(?) and I can really feel it. You are going to giggle ... But it feels like my eye are wide open... A sensation I have not felt in a long time. Also I think I want to say some anxiety has decreased. I feel like I am thinking, not just about the moment I am in but my mind is just thinking about things in general (not racing mind, but clear concise thought??) way more than it has in the three years since diagnosis. It feels think a veil of gauze has been lifted from my mind. I don't have to work so hard to think. I would highly recommend you to give it a shot. It may or may not work with you but... No harm no foul right? I am on Medicare and having already met my annual deductible, the co-pay was zero. So it is definitely affordable. If you try it... Would love to hear back on how it went. Feel free to reach out if there are any questions or to chat

    GE Hill☺️

GE Hill, both donepezil and galantamine are cholinesterase inhibitors. Your dosage of donepezil is low. Perhaps you are seeing improvement because your dosage of cholinesterase inhibitor has been increased. Be aware not to exceed a safe dosage.

Thanks Iris!! I will see if I can get my Dr to increase Donepezil, not to exceed the maximum recommended when combined with the Galantamine. Appreciate the insight. 😊
