Thank you again. I have access to resources but it falls on deaf ears much of the time, unfortunately. Feedback like this is immensely helpful.

I sincerely appreciate the bluntness. Witnessing this behavior is just horrific when the patient won't comply with basic instructions. If I could turn back the clock I wish I had gone to med school so I could understand this disease more.

The doctors don't understand it much more than we do, and they certainly don't understand the day-to-day operations of coping with Alz. Their training focuses almost exclusively on curing with a touch of treatment that isn't curative, but absolutely none on living with illness, including Alz.

Do an online search for parental controls on your father’s laptop’s operating system. It’s the quickest thing to do and should be easy. And easy to undo if necessary until you get medical help and medications if there’s a huge meltdown. Maybe be ready with a fiblet that the FBI has cracked down on all Adult Entertainment websites and shut them down.

Hi! Were you able to resolve this with parental controls on your dad's devices? Another easy solution is to change the DNS address inside the network settings or browser settings on the device itself.

There are lots of free DNS providers (also subscription-based ones, but you don't need that for just porn blocking) and this is something that honestly everyone should set up on their devices or routers for better security (and privacy!) over the internet. DNS Resolvers are basically the 'modern' anti-virus / firewall but specifically for web browsing. They automatically block any websites that host malware or phishing, but you can also specify categories to block (or allow) other things as well - like porn, gambling, web browsing trackers, advertisements, illegal downloading, online gaming, social media networks, dating websites, etc.

Look into Adguard, NextDNS, Quad9, ControlD, or Cloudflare DNS.

Adguard is great because they have both an app you can download that sets everything up for you -- or they have instructions on how to change your network settings. All of the others are great as well (NextDNS would be my 2nd pick), but I don't think they have apps you can download if you don't want to mess with settings.

    NextDNS: https://nextdns.io/
    Adguard: https://adguard-dns.io/
    Cloudlare: https://developers.cloudflare.com/1.1.1.1/setup/

    Hope this helps!
