    so sorry for your loss. My husband passed August 12 following a rapid decline, not eating or drinking then not being able to swallow. He went into memory care just last December. This is a heartbreaking disease. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hugs.

    Losing your partner and seeing them suffer are hard, hard things to weather. I hope in time you find peace in the knowledge that you were there, loving, caring and sharing your life with one who loved you too.

    I am sorry to hear of your husband's passing, and I understand what you are going through because my significant other passed away yesterday, and despite all of the strain of caring for her at home, along with a part time caregiver, I wish I was still doing it.
