All of your comments give me comfort in knowing I am not alone - thank you. Logical me knows he is at peace now, but my heart knows no logic. I pray in time I can think of him without crying a river of tears.

Caregiving is a difficult and emotionally draining journey and the only reward at the end is excruciating pain. I thought I had readied myself for the inevitable but alas you can never be prepared. xo

My heart is full. Thank you for sharing your story with me. My DW was only recently diagnoses with a rapid form of dementia which is already stage 7, I have been her 24/7 exhausted and financially strapped trying to keep her at home. I get 12 hours a month for respite form my local resource and a plan for Hospice to visit tomorrow? Can yo7 tell me what your title means? Hospice to stage 8 in 35days?
