CSVD and behavioral changes

I was diagnosed last year with CSVD, but for about the last 3 years, I’ve gotten angrier, losing my short term memory, so much to the point where I can’t even hold proper conversations, because I’m often getting in arguments with my adult children, and often can’t remember what it was about. Is this common with CSVD?

So sorry to hear about your CSVD diagnosis. It it so difficult to cope with. My dementia has a microvessel dimension but I have been diagnosed with ALZ. There were many times when I was very agitated. But I have started to accept that I will forget converations and the frustrations that my disease is not understood by my DW. I can't blame her being frustrated as much as I am as well. Meanwhile, we coexist and adapt to my changing dementia.
Best wished to you, and I hope it eventually works out for the better with your family.
