Using updatable photo frames to communicate schedules/information

This is a helpful tip (I hope), and also a question if others can recommend frame brands.

My mother has grown increasingly confused about organizing her day. She is solidly in Stage 4, so I think this post is most applicable around that phase. We have found it very helpful to give her a photo frame on her dining table. Every day I make a schedule for her day in the Notes app on my phone. At the bottom I add a couple of lines about where key family members are today. If I'm out of town, I add when I am returning, because she was getting false ideas that if I was away, it meant I had gotten fed up and abandoned her. I take a screenshot of the Note and save it to Photos. Every evening I post the photo of tomorrow's schedule to the frame, using the app for the frame.

I bought a Frameo brand frame for this and then discovered that I could not remove photos remotely from the app. So, there was no way to remove previous day's schedules without going to her apartment. That frame is now just used for family photos that make her smile. Then I got an Aura brand frame (a more expensive brand). Their app allows me to remove photos remotely, and it's worked very well for her. There have been a couple of times something has glitched when updating the photos, but mostly it's been reliable.

I found that frame specs online rarely stated whether it was possible to delete pictures remotely. Maybe some of you could tell us about any brands that have worked for you.

    A couple of other details:

I put the day of the week and date at the top in a large, colored font. I use a different color for different days of the week so I can tell the photos apart when they are small in an app.

Between taking the screenshot and saving it to photos, I adjust the image by cutting off the top and bottom. That way it shows up in the frame with larger letters, and it looks better.
