Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

I need your input, please. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has been recommended for my MCI/Alz. I was diagnosed on 12/01/2025. It is mild at the moment.

Please let me know if you or a loved one has tried this and whether or not it was helpful.

I have not. I have been assessed for sleep apnea and my dr was concerned about my oxygen levels and was considering whether I needed additional oxygen. However, once I started Cpap every night, my oxygen levels had improved enough she didn’t need to add separate oxygen therapy. Have you consulted a sleep specialist?

There is a BIG study done in Israel for Hyperbaric O2 therpay to help with Dementia. My wife went through this process for 80 sessions (about 2 hours each session at +1 atmopheric pressure)

we did not see any improvment and as a matter of fact one of my wife's neurologic Doctor was saying it actually may do more harm than good and STOP it ASAP (over oxidizing)

Insurance will NOT cover for Dementia and it is expensive
