Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

in I Am Living With Alzheimer's or Other Dementia

I need your input, please. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has been recommended for my MCI/Alz. I was diagnosed on 12/01/2025. It is mild at the moment.

Please let me know if you or a loved one has tried this and whether or not it was helpful.

    I have not. I have been assessed for sleep apnea and my dr was concerned about my oxygen levels and was considering whether I needed additional oxygen. However, once I started Cpap every night, my oxygen levels had improved enough she didn’t need to add separate oxygen therapy. Have you consulted a sleep specialist?

    Thank you for your response🤗 No, I have not seen a sleep specialist. I will add that to the questions for my neurologist. Wishing you all the best.
