How do you handle your grief while still caregiving (bring true to your feelings but not in front of LO?) and not get angry with/at them because of it?

Vent to others ... supportive friends, people on this forum who have been where you are now ... and allow yourself to be human. You will get angry, be sad, etc ... but if you have an outlet with others, it'll be less likely that you will take it out on your LO.

I find having a therapist helps. Also make sure you find time (I know it’s hard, especially if you are caring for LO at home) to get exercise, be in nature, remember this is a phase of life and like everything else will pass. Also, find community - maybe there are in person Alzheimer’s groups for families near you? You can call the alz association hotline for more info. Please know this will pass, and there is lots of support available.
