    Ed,

    A dad shouldn’t have to say this kind of goodbye to a daughter or a son. I’m so sorry for this burden on your heart. I love what butterfly wings described, that of a beautiful heavenly reunion between wife, son, and daughter - all healthy and so happy.

    May you continue seeing and receiving the best in people and circumstance. Thank goodness you are there for your family. You are a good man, husband, and father. Hold onto the happy memories and may they and Grace provide you peace.

    Thank you everyone for your supportive comments. We have some people here from out of state, and more to come. So it will probably be a while before I'm back on the forum. As always, I will be thinking of you.

    Hope there is solace in the presence of friends and family. We are all thinking of you.

    Do you know this poem? Samuel Clemens/Mark Twain lost two of his three daughters as well as a son who died in infancy. Susy was his oldest and his favorite and died of meningitis. He wrote this poem for her tombstone that always brings me to tears:

    Warm summer sun, shine kindly here;

    Warm summer wind, blow softly here;

    Green sod above, lie light, lie light;

    Good night, dear heart; good night, good night.
