I am a big fan of mysteries. Would sort of mysteries do you like? Police or private detective, amateur sleth, etc. I listen to a lot of audiobooks. Some are cozy mysteries, others are not like Michael Connelly. His Harry Bosch series is one of my favorites. I listen to a lot of British mysteries. I am currently working through Deborah Crombie's Duncan Kincaid series.

David, before my memory and attention problems I used to read novels all the time. The best mystery novel that I can remember was 'The Name of the Rose' by Umberto Eco. It's about murders in a 12th century monestary that houses a huge library of rare books. Was a great read as I remember. Hope this helps.😊

I like Nora Roberts and have listened to a number of her books. I am finding reading a bit more difficult than listening because of my language difficulties. It would be good if I read every day. I have a pile of books so it is not for a lack of books. Yes, I prefer hardcovers also now. I used to buy little paperbacks that fit in my purse to take with me but find the print too small in them now. I enjoy listening to the books while doing household chores like washing dishes. I can also listen to them while crocheting.

I am with you on the audio books. I'm sure they are great and I've even given a few a listen(Angels and Demons by Dan Brown is one); but I like the feel of the pages, the ability to underline and write notes in the margins. I know it's old school and for all who have an iPad or reader- I'm glad you enjoy it. For now, I like the feel of the printed page and the 'large print' printed page is better for me as I push my way towards 70ish.
