Keep posting Judith so I will know what is coming my way. Is it a watch or warning?

ALL CLEAR….

I had to go look up Braum's since I'd never heard of it — it looks like my kind of place! That chocolate sundae that you described, Carl? It looks delicious. And if they'd sub out the vanilla ice cream for chocolate ice cream, it'd be even more delicious! 😄
Have a great trip, Iris!
Lorita - I'm watching the gas prices go up day by day. Good thing we drive a hybrid.
Judith - I'm glad you have an 'all clear'. I guess you get used to it? Hearing about a watch or a warning seems incredibly stressful to me.
I guess I'd prefer an earthquake - no warning, it just happens and then it's over. Then again, that might just be the devil I know.
Today was so cold! We had some sun, but man, going outside felt like walking into a refrigerator. And this morning didn't help. We had a mishap with the thermostat. The battery died overnight so the temperature wasn't regulated. We woke up to a 60 degree house. Brr. It's been several years since we've replaced the battery so I guess it was time. Once we put in a new battery, all was well.
I'm ready for summer.

Good morning,
Don’t know if the weather was bad here or not. Slept till now!
Got to get ready for stress test in a couple of hours. What I hate the most is no coffee!

Good morning, Ron. No coffee is stress enough, I would think. Dress warm, it's 61 now but that's the day's high. It'll be 50 by noon and 29 tonight. We had thunder and rain last night where I live, but nothing serious.
GG, they'll make it with chocolate. Braum's have lots of flavors, even pumpkin in season. 🍨 I eat a chocolate sundae with black walnut ice cream once in a while. If you grew up eating black walnuts, as I did, it's pretty good. Most of the world's black walnut trees live in Missouri, and we could get them for free just by picking them up. I particularly liked Mom's black walnut chocolate fudge.

Good morning.
My group is on our way to Tijuana in los Estados Unidos Mexicana, what we call Mexico. The weather is clear and warm.
Judith, I'm glad you had no tornado.
Two members of our group are from Texas.
Lorita, I paid $4.85 for regular gas in SoCal. Our gas prices are always much higher than in the rest of the country.

beautiful day here today
GG..the waiting carefully is far less stressful than not being in a safe place but I do think earthquakes are easier and we have them too…

Carl, daddy's favorite cake for his birthday was a white two layer cake with layers split covered with vanilla pudding and black walnuts on the pudding. We have a huge Black walnut tree in our backyard . We had a rock with a round indentation in it where we would put the walnut to crack. Now the kernels really don't develop fully but the yard is covered with nut shells Rusty has.broken open.
My favorite thing from Braums is cappuccino chunky chocolate frozen yogurt. Wish we had one closer..When Mike was in college he worked at the Braums dairy South of OKC , I think.
You know, Iris, Oklahoma has more earthquakes than California, mostly from fracking. I guess with earthquakes there isn't the stress we have from possible twisters -I do not care for either. Very windy and cloudy here. It's 57 now compared to 70+ at this time yesterday.
Yesterday afternoon Darwin called saying he was passing out. I hurried over and Donna met me at the door saying he was on the floor. I checked.him out no stroke, just got dizzy and fell twice.. He had been working on his mower in the barn, got dizzy and came into the house.
I contacted the daughters and they were here within the.hour, one from Arkansas. When all his folks got there I came home. They had gotten him up and he was feeling better. The daughter who works two days a week at our VA spent the night and and will tonight. He called this morning and says he feels pretty well. Told him to stay inside and rest today. He really needs a Medical Guardian to wear that detects falls.
Glad I don't need to go anywhere today. So Is Stormy. He is staying close to me.

Darwin shouldn't be working outside. I'm glad he's okay.
We are in Mexico. Here are some photos at the Mexican market.
A fruit stand,-there are many tropical fruits that we dont have in the US

Good Afternoon Porch Friends.
Ron. Looks like you had a good nights sleep. Going without coffee in the morning is a killer. I always made my appointments early to avoid that. Then right to a coffee stand when done. My doctors office had a coffee stand right next to it.
Judith. Im glad your safe and had a Alls Clear sign. My grandparents lived in Cherokee Oklahoma and they had a basement just in case. I don't remember them ever using it.
Iris. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I loved the ones showing the view while on the bus. The ocean view is beautiful, did they say how long that shipwreck boat has been there? I would love being on a bus for 2 days.
Lorita. It's nice that you were able to go check on Darwin. I agree he needs a medical guardian and ASAP. Maybe his daughter's need to get one for him. And hopefully he would ware it. Getting dizzy is probably something that will continue to happen. Is Donna, capable of calling you if she needs to. Hopefully he is staying hydrated. It's a blessing your there for eachother.
Not much happening on my end of the porch today.
Hugs to all Zetta

That's a lovely beach, Iris. I agree, that surf would roll a swimmer into those rocks and bruise him badly!
Lorita, that Darwin needs to take it easier, but I'm sure no one can tell him that.
Had shredded brisket burrito with rice and beans for lunch today with an old friend. Good times!

Pictutes are great, Iris. That lemonade looks so good. Looks like you're having a good time. It has been flat out cold here today with a strong north wind.
Our weatherman says we have had 17 tornados this year with four deaths and one injury, so far. Not good. Last night the storms were so close one of the storm chasers was going on the road along the north side of the farm chasing a storm going east. Too close for me.
Think I will watch the Hunt for Red October, again. Good night, sleep tight.

Morning, love the trip we're taking with you, Iris. Did you keep some shells?

Morning……….

Good morning. The shore is completely covered in fog in the mornings. This fog provides moisture for plants and birds and small animals since there is little rainfall.
Facing the ocean— no visibility.
People come here for dirt-bike riding and dune-buggy riding on the shore.
Soon we will have no cell phone service because we will be deep in the desert. So long.

We are on a very remote road, there are no other cars, no houses, only desert. The government has made investments to encourage tourism, but traveling below Ensenada is more for the adventurous visitor.

Thank you Iris for taking us on your travels. I'm enjoying myself.

Great pictures, Iris.
I've been meaning to ask @Lorita if you've tried using something like Feliway for Sammie's aggression. I have 2 friends who routinely foster and adopt strays and abandoned cats into their multicat homes. One has 4 currently and the other has an even dozen last I heard. They both rely on Feliway to help cats feel calm and safe which reduces all manner of antisocial cat behavior.
You might want to ask Mike about this.
