    Healng thoughts and prayers for you. This is a rough journey for all of us and the only solace is understanding we are not alone. When you can, pls continue sharing and helping the rest of us to understand what lies ahead. It is helpful for me to learn from others that have travel this road. Praying you find oeace

    I will, I’m getting close to being able to. I really want to dig deep into the critic that comes and criticizes the last hours and how you did this wrong that wrong. That critic is not new to me, it critic showed up almost every morning at 2 AM to give me a performance review of the previous day. It always showed up with the advantage of having hindsight when I was living it out in real time. That is so cruel.

    So sorry for the loss of your beloved husband Alan. I think all of us here will eventually experience the terrible loss that you are experiencing now but I think God I have found so many caring and supportive people here on this site. May God bless and take care of you in the years to come as you have for Alan.
