I believe Lilly's amyloid busting drug holds more promise, at least for those at the earliest stage of AD. (Not that I or a LO would jump on the bandwagon even if a dementia expert gave the green light). The infusions are "only" once per month, and surprisingly, a number of participants with MCI were released before the trial ended after their excessive tau was eliminated. It is anticipated that the drug will be approved by the end of the year.
