Hi, looking for a point in the right direction for a support group either in-person or virtual in the DMV that is based on the experiences of other millennial care givers and their parents with Dementia/Alzheimers.

    Try your local Alzheimer’s organization.

You can try your local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

That said, I have never seen a support group aligned in such a manner. The one I attended was more of a general group, spouses and adult children caring for their LOs in all manner of dementias, stages of progression and configurations of care delivery from supporting "independent" living, to 24/7 at home caregiving to managing care in a facility setting.

I've only seen 2 groups that weren't open to all comers. One was specifically for FTD caregivers to meet their unique issues around progression and behaviors. And the other was for husbands doing mostly solo care at home.

If you can't find one through the Association, maybe create your own through meetup? You may benefit from a broader group, too. Good luck to you.

I have never seen one just for millenials (I am a millenial—1988) so I just go to the regular ones and am always the youngest person there. Still helpful though. There is a facebook group for young caregivers that I'm a part of, cakled "Young Life Interrupted- A caregiving community for young caregivers" led by Adrienne Glusman
