Dearest M1, I find myself wishing I had the wisdom of words to make this easier for you. It is a true heartfelt loss and that is as deep as a loss can be. Yours was a relationship built on love that stayed with her and carried her over the threshold from this world.

May the following days remind you of how well you cared for her and about her and how much love was in your relationship; may that soon assist in the beginnings of peace.

My sympathy and best wishes, M1. I'm sorry for your loss, but glad that your LO is now out of all pain and suffering. As a fellow "soldier" who's been in Stage 8 for a year and a quarter now, I can imagine both your grief and your relief.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your long time partner. I know she was close but just now saw that she passed. Bittersweet I am sure but I also know you are relieved that it's all over and the long long struggle has finally ended. Please take care M1 and I have always appreciated your helpful insight.
