    Good morning Front Porch Friends.

GothicG. Thanks for thinking about me. I'm missing yoga, daughter and her DH are in London, right now and won't be home till the 17th of this month. I don't want to go anywhere while their gone. I'm enjoying my alone time. Hugs Zetta

Just poking my head in for a sec —

I noticed that the moderators have been by - they had made a comment in this thread and then deleted it. If I had to make a guess as to what it was about I'd say that it was a note to let us know that they've fixed things because my notifications are working again! And, I can click on the notifications icon and actually get to the thread. That's a "yay" in my books.

Thanks @JeriLynn66 for speaking to them.

Hi again. it is a most beautiful day, sunny, calm and ,76 drgrees. I finally got all my donations written and in the mail. I won't let them accumulator again. On the way down there was a big. Black pond turtle in the road. On the way back I stopped and coaxed him off the road just in case a car or something came up the drive. Didn't want him Hurt.

Haven't slept any yet, almost too late now. Haven't seen Billy today. He is really sticking to the barn. Guess he feels safe there. I wish the girls were back and I know he does.

The yard and parking area is growing up but there are pretty little, shiny yellow flowers everywhere. I have a couple of roses blooming but lost three knock out roses last winter. Poke is growing everywhere around the corral and amid the prickly pears. I haven't eaten poke in years but we used to always look forward to when it started growing. One of the social workers we worked with and a fishing buddy of Charles' even dug up some of the roots to transplant at his house in town. I left the geranium .out on the porch night before last and Rusty ate one of the three , big flowers that had begun to bloom. Don't know where I can leave it this summer.. Not going to transplant the vinca or sweet potatoes or bulbs until after the ground dries a little.

We have a rain free day today, then storms early tomorrow, then two pretty days before rain again.A town about 25 miles from us has had over 15" of rain which makes our 9.5" sound measly. A dam near Bsrnsdall broke and there lots of closed roads and flooding.. Heard this morning that a man drove around the roadblock and got caught in the water. Someone tried to help and he was rescued but the first man drowned. They say a foot of running water can float a car or big truck. Several times we have had To turn around and not go through high water.

Ron, I hope you feel.better today. Carl, are you okay?

GG, as well as describing the difficulties, I flagged your post so they could see the messages we were getting. Glad they fixed it because I was having a mini panic attack when I couldn't get to you folks, lol!
