Sexual Behavior in Husbands

Super sexed DH

II feel like I am the only 75+ caregivers whose husband is constantly wanting to make love or touch, lay with, hug or kiss me. Do others deal with this and shadowing?

Does anyone have help or suggestions? I'm over loved😗

Sorry you're having this problem. Search the term "hypersexual" on the search bar of this forum (the magnifying glass in the upper right of your screen). There's lots of good information there.

very common unfortunately. Medications can help. Talk to his doctor and be honest with the doctor about the behavior.

Yes, I have the same problem with my DH. It is very wearing on me. Our first appointment with geriatric doctor I gave her a note asking about medications. She could start him on a psychotic medication for it, but there are side effects. He is in moderate stage and takes Donepezil and Zoloft now. Normally she does not start psychotic meds until he should start wandering or hallucinations, but would prescribe something if I wanted.

I decided to hold off for now. Just not ready to deal with additional side effects. Some weeks it’s worse than others. I do talk to him about it and only helps a little.
