This was posted by a neighbor. Can you imagine being worried about retaliation for speaking about Alzheimer’s research?

    no research has been cut. They are cutting non research positions. Not to worry. My daughter works at a non profit and I researched it for her. We will actually have more money for research. Old grants remain in place. New pending grants were paused temporarily for review. One director at the NIH was fired last year by President Biden due to fraud after an 8 year investigation.

    Thanks for that perspective. But my concern is, a major academic institution warned a person with Alzheimer’s to be careful talking about research funding cuts because they are concerned about retaliation from the highest office in the land.
