I've always loved Tom Petty and Prince, especially Prince. Prince comes in at the 3:30 mark and everyone just gets out of his way.

I like the Stones, too. My favorite of their songs is "Paint it Black". Amazing- 63 years! Did not realize The Beatles were only together six years. Certainly made the most of those years. What about The Everly Brothers. Never a sound like theirs!

Good morning, Ron and all our friends.

It's December. Time to turn the calendar page and get out the wool clothing. It's 25 degrees and cloudy, some chance of a little snow. ❄️ YouTube meteorologist Max Velocity thinks the ice will stay in Arkansas and Oklahoma, and the heavy snow will pass to the north of us. I hope he's right, but I'm stocked up on oats and beans in case he isn't.

Carl, I also hope he’s right! I have my MRI at 7 in the morning and this is a important step in what’s next for me. My son tells me that they clear 65 pretty quick, but the problem is getting off this mountain. After having the turkey and sausage gumbo my son made last night and turkey and dressing the previous two days, I believe the turkey is finally gone.

If you ever want a good flavored gumbo, smoke it instead of baking, save the skin from the smoked turkey for your gumbo and you will have some of the best gumbo you’ve ever eaten.

Thanks for the compliments about my collar. In the new year I'd like to get back to sewing. I've got a few tasks and projects to clear up before the end of this year.

Ron, I don't think I've ever tasted a smoked turkey, I'll bet it's delicious. Your gumbo looks so good!

Ron, you always say you're on a mountain, but I always thought Missouri is flat.

We have another mild day here, about 70-75 degrees. I have to get back to walking. So long.
