Ron, are you feeling better after aspirating?
Eagle, I'm glad you attended the church wedding and the reception and had a good time.
Judith, I've always thought that Boston ferns on a porch are a homey touch.
Here is the where we are going on this trip:
Portofino, Cinque Terre, Pisa-Lucca-Pistoia, Florence, Siena, San Gimignino, Moderna-Parma-Baveno and Borromean Islands, Milan, Lake Como.
All in 12 days minus 2 days for travel. We are advised to dress up a bit—no jeans or sneakers at dinner. I have to finesse my wardrobe because I usually dress California casual, meaning jeans, tee shirts or sweatshirts and sneakers. I don't even own a dress. I'll see what I can find.
Good night.

Good morning
Iris, yes I’m feeling better, stayed in bed all day. I still was up a little after 1, but that is probably a combination of staying in bed all day and anxious to get tomorrow over with.
Enjoy your trip Iris!

Lovely soft rain last night….working on taxes today…always an extension due to K1 forms coming in late.
Ron …we will be with you tomorrow!!!
Iris…cant's wait to eat my way through northern Italy with you. Would you share the name of the touring company. A friend thought she would like to go with them.

Good afternoon.
Rain was predicted but no rain yet, the sky is overcast.
Judith, I sent you a message about the tour for your friend.
Yes, Italy has great food, great wine, great art, great architecture, and great history. I am not going for these reasons. I have always been interested in how people live. This interest has fueled my international travels, even if the title of the trip was otherwise. I want to see how people in Italy actually live.
Ron, I'm glad you're feeling better. Do you think anxiety has anything to do with your aspiration?

Ron, glad you feel better today. I will be praying that all goes well tomorrow-.I'm sure it will. We have only had a couple of little showers today but it's still cloudy.
Talked with Mike this early morning. He had a client a few days ago who had Anatolian-Pyrenees puppies. Couldn't remember their name but said maybe the girls would. We were going to adopt a grown Anatolian years ago but he wanted out of the yard and cleared a 6' chain link fence the day after being neutered. He was huge. We will see how it goes. Stormy needs a companion-he won't let me out of his sight. He misses Sheena so much-she raised him from seven weeks old so she was really his mother.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Prayers for your surgery tomorrow Ron and a speedy recovery 🙏 We’ll be right here waiting for you on the Porch❤️

Ron - I hope all goes well tomorrow. I'll be thinking all good thoughts. As JeriLynn says, I wish you a speedy recovery.

Ron, I'm praying for a great surgical outcome and a speedy recovery!
Lorita, I looked at the Anatolian-Pyranees mix pups, they do look strong. It says they are herders. Will your new one be okay without some cows to herd?
Good night.

I imagine Ron's surgery is over. Maybe he will feel like posting in a day or so.
Iris Pyrenees are also herders and livestock protectors, too, so they should be compatible. We have a big yard so that will help. When the Gator was here I took them to the mailbox. Stormy would ride down while Sheena walked and both would walk back.
Mike couldn't remember who the client was and the girls may not either because they have so many. I used to know where there were three places with them but no longer. Mike says since there are fewer sheep and goats around so there are fewer Pyrenees. The people may not want to give up one of the puppies or may live too far away. I hope Kate can find one for me. Stormy needs a companion do may have to settle for another breed. Stormy weighs 102 and is very gentle so even a smaller one would be okay.

Oh, that's great Ron. I'm glad everything went well.

That's great news, Ron! You'll be home soon.
You're welcome, Judith!
Lorita, will those types of herders be comfortable with no cows to herd?
HB, I sent you a message with a link to an article about a non-verbal young man with autism who wrote a novel. If it didn't come through, I'll think of another way to send it.

Glad all went well for you Ron, you are still in my prayers.

Great news, Ron. Prayers answered.
Iris, no problem. They don' need to herd. None of our three Pyrenees have but they do watch them.

Glad things are going well Ron!!
We have another set of triplets today. Mama got separated from one and now she’s decided she doesn’t want her.
Cutie pie is in a big dog crate in my living room and gets bottle fed every 2 hours. She’s lively and has a good strong suckle so maybe she’ll do ok. Granddaughter will take her to her house tomorrow. She’s good with the babies and has “goatsat” for us before. Plus there are 3 teenagers to help out ❤️This is Fiesty Fancy Girl. She’s around 4 pounds and follows us around the house. There’s a dementia kitty in the crate with her 😆
Ron, I hope you are able to get rest tonight; we know how hospitals work ❣️

Congratulations on the babies, JeriLynn. Feisty Fancy Girl is so cute.
Good night, Ron, and everyone. Sleep tight.

Ron, hope you are feeling better this morning and they let you go home.

Good morning, all. It's sunny and headed to 83 today. I'll take it.
Ron— I am so happy for you that things went as they should. I hope you are comfortable this morning and plotting your escape. May your discharge be swift and seamless.
Lorita— I hope you are able to find a companion for Stormy soon.
Iris— Thanks for thinking of me. You must be getting excited about your trip. DH would be very jealous of your trip to Lake Como as it's one of his favorite places ever when he traveled for work. Maybe you'll bump into George and Amal.
Jerilynn— It sounds like it is well and truly Goat Season in your neck of the woods. Is the bottle feeding around the clock or can they stretch it out a bit longer at night? I'm glad you have a reliable granddaughter who can help you out around this. FFG is a real looker.
Judith— The "Reels" algorithm is a funny thing. Fall down the rabbit hole on one subject and it'll feed you more of the same.

Mom's blood work is back from yesterday. Nothing remarkable but perhaps suggestive of worsening CHF which would explain the continued need for supplemental O2. I expect the echo next month will bring more clarity.
Yesterday was also her psychiatrist appointment. I suggested she discuss her sleep issues since the sleep hygiene approach suggested by the sleep specialist isn't buttering the biscuit. It sounds like the psych was unwilling to adjust her SSRIs (I'm certain the night wakings are anxiety driven) because of how many other medications she takes. FTR, we have been diligent in cutting down anything unnecessary, but she takes a lot of medications and a few prescribed supplements. Mom came out of the appointment fussing about her "massive dose of Keflex" (the doctor's words) and worried that it could stop working for her.I showed her a picture of the Crown Princess of Norway wearing a nasal cannula while attending an event. She has a uniformed aide who carries the unit itself, so she doesn't have to. Since mom isn't royalty, she finally warmed to the concept of wearing a backpack designed to carry her POC so I snagged one on Amazon which should arrive by the end of the week. The current case has a shoulder strap which could be worn bandolier style, but she can't get the hang of it. Fingers crossed this improves compliance.
DS is taking her to the dentist today. I'll need to remind him where it is as it has moved and she won't be able to give directions despite being there several times. That leaves me to take her to the pulmo on Thursday. Fun times!
I hope all have a pleasant and safe day.
