    Thanks @Call me Gram. I watched the video and I definitely have compassion fatigue. I have decided to take the day off from visiting DH in the NH.

    Following the rabbit trails, I ran across a couple more TEDx talks about Compassion fatigue & caregiving. I'm beat from a rough day with DW, but I'm grateful for the link—gonna give 'em a watch tomorrow.

    @Call me Gram I had to search but found the YT video you shared and a few others as @AlekoW said. I watched the video you shared and a couple others and realized I need to "fill my cup before I empty it out."
