Hi Jez, I give my LO one CBD/THC + melatonin gummy at night to help him sleep. So far they are working and he sleeps through the night, at least most of the time.

We tried 20cbd+1thc gummies at around 4-6 hour intervals during day for agitation, it helped some but often short lasting like 2-3 hours. At night 2.5cbn+2.5thc helped with sleep through I am seeing some recommendations that cbn alone is better. This was under supervision of naturopathic doctor with experience prescribing MMJ, would not have undertaken experiments on my own due to multiple other meds in play. I was also advised to monitor for low blood pressure which did happen.

Thanks for mentioning that Wiz, I also cleared with his doctor prior to starting LO on the gummies.

I recently tried using CBD for similar issues, and I know what you mean about the effects not lasting super long! I actually found that using weed pens—especially those with a bit of THC—helped balance things out for me during the day. Vape pens seem to give a little more control over dosing, and I can adjust throughout the day if I feel agitation coming back. It’s great that you’ve got a naturopath guiding you, especially with multiple meds involved; blood pressure monitoring makes sense. I might experiment with adding a CBN-only option at night like you mentioned since I’m looking to improve sleep too.
