Good morning. Burr…….. I certainly hope everyone is safe and sound inside your homes. Looking at the pictures of the snow / ice just makes me colder! I've heard from several of my KS friends how bad it is. They had ice then 10+ inches of snow on top of the ice. Its not safe to get out.

Lorita how are you? I'm glad you found your axe, but hope you don't have to use it.

The blue northern has come through here. At 6:30 it was 62 degrees and no wind and by 9:00 its 37 degrees and a northern gale. We plan on a quiet day, a board game or two and watch the Chiefs. I'm going to slow cook at roast all afternoon. We (me) need down time.

Last day on the job but what a great story he'll have to tell over the years :)

My sister sent my DH a birdhouse kit. He didn't put it together but it led to some great memories of his days as a Boy Scout. In fact, the night it arrived he unpacked it and began telling me how to construct it. I reminded him it was his sort of hobby but if the birds needed a quilt I'm the one to ask.
