    Good afternoon.

@Iris L. It depends on the celebrity, I guess. Gibson was pretty gracious with his fans from what I hear. DS said that Russell Crowe was rude when he was filming in Princeton (DS was 8 at the time) but that Snookie from Jersey Shore was polite and a "good mom". There's a Quaker boarding school in town where the children of New York actors and such attend. We used to run into Micheal Douglas and Bill Cosby at the local pizza restaurant when their kids were students. It was nice because folks would just leave them alone.

David— Mom does her pills (she has vision issues) and I "proofread" the weekly organizers for accuracy and compliance. You could always have your medications made up into pill packets as they do in the hospital.

Jerilynn— Boy do I hear you on wanting to see the appliance IRL.

I don't know if you're going for the commercial-look range or not. My mom has this slide-in model. I am not a fan. Most of the oven and other controls are in an electronic pad in front of the burners. They're very sensitive to touch and easy to change a setting or turn on/off something reaching over or wiping it off. The other issue I have with it is that the oven door handle catches on pants pockets, belt loops and even aprons for mom, my niece and myself. I'm about 5'3" and they're barely 5'. I've prepared meals with it— it bakes and roasts well but can be annoying. Hers is about 6 and she does use it several times a week.

David Im sorry. Know it hurts. Think Eagles suggestion might be worth a try.

Speaking of appliances my dehumidifier went caput. I brought the old one upstairs and it was fairly heavy. I used my legs and not my back and guess what it didn't hurt me. There is a physical therapist Margaret Martin out of Canada with a YT channel. She had a recent video showing how to do this and how to not twist when doing things all day and gave examples. Ive tried to become very aware of this and cannot believe how many times i twisted each day. It is day 3 now and I'm seeing a difference, it’s great.

Hope you day continued to go pretty well Lorita.

I made it to church today, but had to make myself go. For some reason since last week I haven't wanted to be around anyone.

I have to have my louisiana hot sauce, always ready to help with a meal that isnt quit right. In vietnam it was very handy when you had nothing but k rations. Since I'm talking about food I'll share a little secret! I've told you before I cheat with my gumbo. I'm to lazy for a homemade roux, so I use the Savoie roux. It's a good cajun roux and comes in handy.

Judith, not speaking for Jo C, but I find it hard to keep up with all of what everyone posts on this thread. Sometimes I think of something I want to respond to, but then I read more, and the first vanishes from my mind. It becomes easier not to respond at all. But I keep trying.

We drove to KS for a wedding of a cousin this weekend. It was a quick trip, left Saturday and home Sunday. We had a great time.

Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone has experienced anything like I did this a.m.. i I woke up as usual around 6 a.m. and my mind seemed to be in a fog and my entire body was like a rubber band and when I went to clean up I could barely walk. It finally went away around noon. I wonder if this has anything to do with my dementia?
